The plot thickens for this anticipated supernatural crime solver with more story clues! The game developers continue to follow their episodic trailer series by shedding light on Salem’s primary antagonist: “The Bell Killer”.
I’m still debating whether this trailer destroyed some of the game’s potential mystery factor. Especially when one has watched and read a plethora of crime shows and novels, one questions how satisfying the crime solving will be in this game. Regardless, the trailer itself provokes many questions about the killer’s motives, their identity and their power. Seriously, if you’re able to kill so many people in a variety of ways with no particularly revealing link between them, that takes some skill—although it seems likely that the murderer continues to elude justice due to some dark supernatural connection. So when you think about it, this trailer possibly makes The Bell Killer even more terrifying.
Even though the story trailers are interesting, I still wish the developers would release a more comprehensive gameplay trailer. So far, the only thing I could find was Murdered: Soul Suspect’s 2013 E3 Presentation. But with the final release only a little bit over a month away, I suppose prospective players can wait.
Murdered: Soul Suspect will be available on the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The release dates are set for 3 June 2014 for North America and 6 June 2014 for all other regions.
